Abs on toast!
It’s officially summer (wohoooo!), I love the summer don’t you? It’s my favourite time of the year – longer days, warmer temperature, everyone seems happier, it’s also that little bit easier to go to the gym, and keep yourself motivated. It’s also a time when a lot of us (especially us lot in the UK!) go on holiday for some sun, so we can get our Dale Winton tan, kick back and relax.
Therefore I thought it would be super cool to kick the summer off with a bang – Ab Workout baby! In the video below, I share 4 exercises – which combined hit all sections of your midsection (upper, middle, lower, and side abs!). I’ve also designed a workout plan for you to follow to help you cultivate a more aesthetically looking midsection, not to mention improve functionality in day to day life! Win Win.
- Exercise 1 : Lower Abs (reverse crunch on bench or on the floor) – 3 sets x 20-25 reps
- Exercise 2 : Upper Abs (rope crunch) – 3 sets x 20-25 reps
- Exercise 3 : Lower Abs (hanging leg raise) – 3 sets x 10-15 reps
- Exercise 4 : Side Abs (oblique cable twists) – 3 sets 30 reps (each side!)
*rest 30s between each set.
